About IT-Tools
IT-Tools is a collection of handy online tools for developers and people working in IT. The tools run entirely in your browser. If you find it useful, share it with people who might need it and bookmark it! This site is a customised deployment of the open-source project IT-Tools by Corentin Thomasset, released under the GPL-3.0 license. The source code of this version is available on GitHub.
Technologies
IT-Tools is built with Vue.js (Vue 3) and the Naive UI component library, and is hosted on Cloudflare. Some tools rely on third-party open-source libraries; the complete list is in the repository's package.json.
What this version adds
Beyond the original project, this site is maintained independently and adds:
- A complete Traditional Chinese translation, with the language picked automatically from your browser.
- New tools: password generator, PDF compressor, image compressor, date calculator (with Taiwan public holidays and working days), cron expression builder, CSV to JSON, batch timestamp converter, JWT signer and verifier, Traditional and Simplified Chinese converter, X.509 certificate parser and AES encryption.
- Long-form guides at the bottom of tool pages that explain when to use the tool, what the options mean and common pitfalls. More tools are being covered over time.
- Shared features on tool pages: load an example, share a link to your input, keyboard shortcuts, plus recently used tools and smart paste on the home page.

What you enter in the tools never leaves your browser. The site uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which set cookies; see the privacy policy for details.
